Can my company produce an electronic-only annual report?
Yes. Effective January 1, 2009 the Securities and Exchange Commission ruled that all companies may post proxy materials online a minimum of 40 days prior to the shareholder meeting. A notice must be mailed in advance to shareholders telling of the posting and providing the option to request printed materials. Companies can still opt for traditional printed materials but must make the materials available via the Internet.

How much lead-time is needed to create an annual report?
Approximately 3 months is preferable but to be safe a minimum of 2 months is a good rule of thumb to create an annual report.
